Summer’s nearly over which means that the weather is finally cooling down, leaves are changing color, and it’s finally time to eat pumpkin flavored everything!
Unfortunately changes in season and temperature allow different viruses to grow and multiply; which is why we often find ourselves down with the cold or a flu when fall hits instead of outside enjoying the beautiful, cool weather.
So today, I want to share with you some tips that will help you keep the sicknesses away so you can spend more time enjoying the beauty of fall with the ones you love!
Wash your hands often
Germs can be found everywhere. From phones, to door handles to computer keyboards, there are so many things used in our daily life that are not cleaned regularly, so make sure to wash your hands often. Try singing “Happy Birthday” to yourself twice while washing your hands to make sure you do it for at least 20 seconds and effectively clean off unwanted bacteria.
Make Sleep a Priority
Lack of sleep can weaken the immune system and that makes it easier for you to get sick! So make sure you get at least 8 hours each night to stay healthy. And remember, making time to get enough sleep now can stop you from losing time later on when you are forced to take time off due to sickness.
Take Vitamins and Supplements
Taking vitamins is a proactive way to keep your immune system strong so that when you are exposed to a virus your body will be able to fight it! Morinda Defense is a great way to keep your body strong, especially since it contains many vitamins and minerals that are not provided by the average diet.
If You Do Get Sick, Take Time to Rest
Instead of trying to “power through it” when you get sick, give yourself time to rest and heal. Not only will this prevent others from getting sick but it will also help you get over your sickness more quickly!
